    Suggested ease range: 10-15” / 25-37.5 cm of positive ease. Sample shown is a size 2 and worn with approx 14” of positive ease at the bust.

    GAUGE: 20 sts x 28 rnds/rows = 4”/ 10 cm in St st, knit flat and in the round, blocked

     

    NEEDLES:Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.
    • Gauge Needle: Size US 6 (4.0 mm) 16", 32", 40", and 60" (for sizes 62" and above) circular needle and DPNs—or size necessary to obtain gauge
    • Smaller Needle: Size US 5 (3.75 mm) 16" / 40 cm and 24" / 60 cm or longer circular needles and DPNs—or one size smaller than Gauge Needle
    • Spare needle in Gauge Needle size or smaller, to be used for Three-Needle Bind Off

     

    TOOLS:
    2 removable stitch markers, 1 BOR stitch marker, stitch holders/waste yarn, and tapestry needle

     

    NOTES:
    • Sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up until the body separates for front/back - then it is worked flat. Shoulders are joined together with a Three-Needle Bind Off. Sleeves are then picked up and worked in the round to the cuff. The neckline is then picked up and worked in a 1x1 twisted rib.
    • Short Rows are used to shape shoulders.
